So today I wanted to write a blog about The Crew 2.
Availability, Price and Platform
You can buy it from Argos*, £47.99 for XBOX ONE and PS4. From Amazon UK* it is £19.99 for XBOX ONE, £22.00 for PS4. When you put the disk in you’ve got to wait for it to download so allow a little time for it to complete before you can play. It was released on the 29th of June 2018. It’s published by Ubisoft.

Gameplay
The Crew 2 has a large map which is based on the United States. You can play online with your friends but you can’t do missions. You can buy varous vehicles as follows;
- Street cars
- Drift cars
- Drag cars
- Hyper cars
- Monster trucks
- Jet sprint – small boats with a jet in the back
- Demolition derby
- Aerobatics – aeroplanes that are designed for loop the loops and barrel roles
- Motocross – Dirt bikes
- Hovercraft
- Rally Raid
- Rally Cross
- Power Boats – big long boats that you can do races in them
- Alpha GP – equivalent to Formula One
- Air Race – designed for racing in the air
- Touring Cars
For Street cars, Drift cars, Drag cars and Hyper cars you buy it from the STREET RACING HQ. For Aerobatics, Jet sprint, Monster trucks and Demolition derby vehicles you buy it from the FREESTYLE HQ. For Rally raid, Rally cross, Motocross and Hovercraft you buy it from OFFROAD HQ. For Power boat, Touring car, Alpha GP and Air race you buy it from PRO RACING HQ.
You can drive around and do a range of races. You can level up during the game; the first level is Rookie and progresses as follows; Popular, Famous, Star then Icon 1 through to Icon 9990.
To boost press and hold A and you can do tricks like backflips, front flips and misty flips and wheelies to earn followers at Dirt bike tracks.
To reach 50% on off-road events just do normal off-road races when you reach 50%. You get a big race called The Switch if you win you get a free helicopter. I estimate that the helicopter is going to be good but I haven’t got it yet. The in game money is called bucks. In Miami there’s a race track for the Alpha GP and the Touring cars. It’s called the Miami Race Track. There also is a LIVE XTREAM SERIES and episodes.
Photo Gallery
You can earn loot after races if you come first. There is a photo gallery where all your cool photos are kept. To take a photo press the left one on the directional pad. The pictures save by themselves.
Apartment – Character Customisation
You own an apartment that has a living room, garage, hangar and a harbour to get to them places there’s an elevator in the middle of the rooms. In the living room you can change your upper body, gloves, helmet, lower body, shoes and put on a suit by pressing A to customize your avatar. To exit you have to hold B.
Conclusion
My favourite Dirt track is in Los Angeles and it is called Inglewood. There are millions of speed traps. I like to explore the map. If you leave your Xbox for a while it kicks you of the game for inactivity. Also there is no objective of the game. I like every race in the whole entire game. My favourite car in the game is a Touring and a Drag car because there both really fast and they can set really fast speeds on speed traps. The Crew 2 is better than The Crew because all you could drive in The Crew was cars, you couldn’t drive airplanes or boats, like you can in The Crew 2. They have added live summit and you get rewards every week if you decide yo do it.
I like it, it is fun and awesome I think you should buy it.
